Free places

At Purple Childcare we are able to offer government funded places for two, three and four year olds.

The government offers free hours for all three and four year olds and some two year olds.  Click here to find out if you are eligible for a free place for your two year old: https://www.bristol.gov.uk/schools-learning-early-years/free-early-education-for-two-years

We are able to offer 30 hours of free childcare for three and four year olds. This can be taken in two ways:

  • 24 hours per week for 48 weeks of the year;
  • 30 hours per week for 36 weeks of the year (NB if you choose this option you will need to pay for your childcare during school holidays unless you have a term time only place)

If you are not eligible for 30 hours of free childcare then we can provide the following childcare from government funding:

  • 12 hours per week over 48 weeks of the year.
  • 15 hours per week over 36 weeks of the year.

At Purple Childcare we are open all year round (51 weeks of the year) and recommend that parents take the first option for their government funding as this means they will receive a regular monthly bill.

If you have any queries about funded places please do get in touch at admin@purple-childcare.co.uk
